Welcome to the web pages of the Department of Physical Chemistry. Research and teaching here covers a broad range of quantitative and descriptive strategies.

The department currently comprises of two working groups that apply a wide range of photochemical, spectrometric, and electrochemical techniques as well as the development of chemical sensors. Research mainly focusses on the design of novel materials and surfaces.
